Is there a better time to take Propecia (Finasteride) ?
The intake of Finasteride is not influenced by food intake. It can then be taken indifferently before, after or during a meal. As the rate of DHT (the hormone synthesized from testosterone which is responsible for hair loss) is higher in the morning, some doctors sometimes recommend to take Finasteride at that time of the day. The half-life of Propecia is 4 hours, what might incite to spread the intake in two or three times over the day.
