Robotic fue

I heard that it exists a robot that can apparently perform a FUE on its own, is it true?

For several years, the American company ARTAS has been developing a machine whose working principle was inspired by the use of robots in the industry. This robot is capable to extract FUE grafts following James Harris’ 2-step-system. However, FUE grafts that will be extracted are chosen on a screen by an assistant. Nonetheless, the robot does not replace a human being yet as grafts still have to be extracted manually and placed in the incisions manually too. This robot, some prototypes of which are marketed in the US, does not give a quality of extraction higher than manual work. It only enables a doctor to dedicate less time and less energy to a transplant. Moreover, its cost remains very expensive. I personally use a system that I developed and that allows to extract FUE grafts a bit faster than with a purely manual system, while keeping the same quality. You can see a video on Youtube.
