How does Finasteride influence the blood testosterone level?
Contrary to what patients fear, the testosterone level lightly increases. However, the rate of DHT (dihydro testosterone) decreases by 50 % because Finasteride impedes the transformation of testosterone into DHT. This explains the observation of both blood modifications.
